lovely decor comfortable bed thoughtful space

the water pressure in the shower was amazing! dealing with everything was easy. i really appreciated their help with luggage and how well they understood visitors.

The location made getting to the royal mile area and the train station a bit harder than it looked. I ended up using taxis for trips i had planned to walk

Great Stay in a Good Location

cozy room tea supplies charming cafe

The room was clean and cozy. I found the tea and coffee supplies in my room very convenient. The hotel's location near many charming cafés and restaurants was also a big plus. It was an easy walk to both New Town and the Royal Botanical Garden too.

The room was rather small so maneuvering around, particularly in the bathroom, was a bit challenging. Filling the kettle required some creativity due to space limitations. These were minor issues though.

authentic and peaceful stay

high ceiling bathroom skylight comfortable chair relaxing room

the room was larger than i expected. i was on the top floor, and that gave us high ceilings. i liked the skylight in the bathroom. i was happy to have two comfortable chairs to relax in after a long day.

the room i had was quite small, though i believe other rooms may be bigger.

several restaurants, a grocery store, and coffee shops are within walking distance! it was easy to get a bus into the city centre, though i often enjoyed the walk. the area felt safe and accessible.
